Kerry Crosfield (Manager)

Kerry is the Manager at the Crickhowell Volunteer Bureau and has been part of the organisation for over 23 years. During this time, Kerry has developed a strong commitment to supporting volunteers and strengthening the local community. Her role involves connecting people with volunteering opportunities and supporting organisations so they can make a positive impact together. Kerry is passionate about community work and takes great pride in helping people find meaningful ways to get involved and contribute. She values the important role that volunteers play in supporting and improving local communities. Outside of work, Kerry enjoys spending time outdoors and taking part in activities such as caving, rock climbing, and mountain walking.  

Our current trustees are:-

Cyril Teasdale (Chairman) :

Cyril Previously had a career in finance in the City of London, Cyril joined the Volunteer Bureau in 2003 and has witnessed numerous changes and improvements over the past twenty-three years. He has also been actively involved with CriC and currently serves as Chair of the Market Hall Trust.

Judith D’Anna (Vice Chair) :

Judith is a retired community professional who has had a long and varied career within the voluntary sector. She has worked with organisations including PAVO, WCVA, the Credit Union, and Crickhowell Volunteer Bureau (CVB). Judith was also instrumental in supporting the development of the Commissions following the Russell recommendations. Upon retiring at the age of 60, Judith became a Trustee of Crickhowell Volunteer Bureau, continuing her longstanding commitment to community service.

Michael Davies (Treasurer) :

Mike is a retired Commercial Bank Manager having spent some 45 years working in the Commercial Finance sector. He undertakes a number of voluntary roles within the community, with the aim of supporting local charities and improving the facilities available to local residents. He is currently a trustee of The Clarence Hall, Crickhowell, Treasurer of Crickhowell District Archive Centre and Crickhowell & District Community Partnership CIC, and Finance Director of The Corn Exchange Crickhowell Ltd . He is also a member of a community choir - (Phoenix Singers) and Uskelele ( a local Ukulele Group).

Kathryn Silk :

Ann Teasdale :

Ann previously served as a Senior Administration Officer in the Chairman’s Office at British Gas, before moving into ward administration at the Princess Royal Hospital in Haywards Heath. She has been involved with Dial-a-Ride and CriC for twenty-three years and has served as a Trustee of the Crickhowell Volunteer Bureau for the past ten years.

John Townsend :

John brings a wealth of experience from his career in building construction site management, from which he is now retired. He has served as a trustee since 1992, demonstrating a long-standing commitment to the organisation. Alongside this, John is an active member of the Synergy choir, helping to raise funds for local charities. He also contributes to his local community in Llangenny as a church warden, reflecting his ongoing dedication to service and community involvement.

John Morris :

John is a long serving trustee of Crickhowell Volunteer Bureau. He is a local farmer and businessman and holds a Royal Warrant from His Majesty the King. John served as a Powys County Councillor representing Crickhowell for over 20 years. He is a trustee of a number of organisations in Crickhowell and served as chair of Powys CC scrutiny committee and was Chair of its Audit Committee for 7 years. John is now semi-retired and is an industry expert for the Welsh Government's Farming Connect team developing horticulture initiatives across Wales.

Vaughan Bennett :

Vaughan is a long standing trustee of CVB, having previously been our treasurer for many years. He is a qualified accountant with many years of experience working in industry and commerce. He is fully supportive of CVB and its aims and has admiration for the enthusiasm that Kerry and her team bring to improve the facilities available to members of the community.

Chloe Masefield :

Chloe is a local county councillor for the Crickhowell ward and runs a small business, Natural Weigh, with her husband on Crickhowell High Street. She is also a Trustee for the Clarence Hall. Chloe’s main employment is as the local food partnership coordinator for South Powys which promotes reconnecting people with locally produced nutritious food. Outside of work, Chloe enjoys spending with her family.

Crickhowell Volunteer Bureau provides a vital role in supporting members of the community. We are a not for profit charity that is heavily reliant on Grants, Fund-raising and donations in order to continue to undertake current and future projects.
